We would love for you to join our staff and are currently accepting applications for the position of Host/Hostess/Greeter.
A Host/Hostess is responsible for representing Thee Office Pub as the initial point of contact to guest.
She/he provides guest service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to create a welcoming environment.
She/he will also work directly with other team members to ensure that all guests visits exceed their expectations.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform Holds the door for incoming and departing guests and greets guests in a warm and friendly manner.
Smiling, friendly welcome to all guests, vendors and job applicants.
Provides the highest level of service by adhering to all service standards of Thee Office Pub Fulfills all job responsibilities in order to contribute to a great shift operation.
Walk guests to table in restaurant as well as the patio, advising the guest of servers name and daily specials.
Provides accurate wait times to guests and recommends wait options (seating at the bar).
Answer incoming restaurant calls in a friendly, professional manner.
Works directly with other FOH team members to ensure all of the guests needs are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Provides occasional backup support to bartenders with to-go orders and directs guests to appropriate pickup area.
Assist bussers and servers in bussing tables and refills non-alcoholic beverages.
Assist servers in running food while ensuring proper food handling guidelines are being followed.
Ensures that restrooms are kept clean and stocked.
Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas.
Accomplishes all running and end of shift side work; including ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled host/hostess to take over.
Interact with guests to create raving fans Communicate with fellow team members and management to keep one another informed.
Required Skills Education Desire to provide exceptional service throughout the entire shift.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
