This position does not have a set schedule with the exception of working in office 1 day per week (TBD) and at each planned program.
It is comprised of varied flexible hours that change depending on the event calendar.
Schedule Hybrid position - 1 day onsite in office Starting Pay $17-18
(additional rate would depend upon experience) DERIPTION & REQUIRMENTS:
To program, develop, organize, supervise and manage our community special events.
Position requires candidate to be extremely organized, have excellent communication & people skills, capable of multi-tasking assignments, is self motivated, have the ability to manage staff/volunteers and able to preform physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying supplies and moving equipment etc.
) Experience in a similar position is preferred.
Must be 18 years of age.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
In charge of creating, planning, implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of our year round community and tot special events.
Contract and manage agreement, payment, needs of event vendors Attendance at each community event is mandatory, however the event dates can vary for most events to best reflect your personal schedule.
Hire, manage, schedule and help the set up, clean up staff and volunteers for events.
Monitor, maintain and aligning budgets for each event.
Organize, inventory and manage storage room(s) and supplies.
Work with marketing staff to advertise events.
Learn, input, update and work with our Registration Software and the NIXLE Communication System.
Assist in office for assigned hours.
This will allow for event planning while helping with customer service, registrations, online request, phones and questions.

Our department follows all rules enforced by the Romeo Community School System.
Work Location:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
