Romeo, MI Romeo, MI Full-time Full-time From $18 an hour From $18 an hour Loads and unloads freight Verifies all shipments that are loaded and compared to BOL and packing slips Maintains shipping records for items unloaded and loaded May prepare BOL for shipments Move incoming and outgoing freight using pallet jack and forklift Notifies supervisor of any shipment discrepancies Document's information needed for any damage claims for incoming freight Performs other related duties as assigned Ability to sort, count and verify goods received Basic understanding of dock and warehouse procedures Good organization skills and attention to detail Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets Ability to use office machines to scan and store data High school diploma or equivalent - preferred Able to pass forklift training given by Shipping Manager -preferred Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse and on the loading dock Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, work boots, and Hi-vis vest.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
