Let's Have a Happy Day! About This Role The role of the Happy Day Budtender is one of utmost importance.
Our ideal candidate is energetic, organized, dependable, and motivated with a positive spirit that has a background in customer service with strong communication skills.
Do you have a deep understanding of what it takes to execute a successful customer relationship and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule? The primary role is to provide first class customer service in which we educate the guest and help them discover the cannabis products that best accommodate their needs.
A successful budtender will be able to elevate company standards, achieve sales goals, and meet our customer's expectations.
When business settles, representatives may be asked to keep the location, including bathrooms and parking lots, presentable and well stocked.
Representatives may also be expected to work reception.
This includes greeting guests, checking newcomers in, answering any questions they may have and ensuring that citizen profiles are up to date and abiding with CRA regulations.
Representatives may also be called upon to assist with inventory.
What You Will Be Doing Providing exceptional customer service to every guest Comply with all State regulations Be reliable and punctual Assist with store opening and closing procedures Possess basic computer skills Strong communication for in-person or phone conversations Assesses the needs of each customer, provides appropriate product knowledge, and conducts each transaction with accuracy and efficiency Ability to use suggestive selling strategies in order to upsell and cross sell to all customers.
Ability to take in and implement constructive feedback and be coached by upper management Promoting the perks of being a Happy Day customer (Loyalty Program, Referrals, etc.
) Escalates customer issues to upper management when appropriate Maintains neatness, cleanliness, and organization of the sales floor Fills in when short-staffed and is willing to be cross trained Follows and integrates Happy Day company policies and procedures with on-the-job interactions, tasks, and behaviors Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and maintain frequent movement.
Accountable for accurately utilizing the Point-of-Sale system(s).
Acknowledge any inventory issues and properly report them to management.
The Experience You Bring A minimum of 1-2 years in a customer service role in a retail environment A background in healthcare, social work or related fields is also preferred Effective multitasker with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; ability to correspond in a professional and businesslike manner Excellent organization skills, with high attention to detail Compassionate yet resilient; able to hear about and empathize with people's struggles without it overwhelming you A real people person - someone that genuinely enjoys getting to know people & interacting with them Good attitude and willing to adapt to an evolving environment Happy Day is an equal opportunity employer.
