General Manager Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, procurement, storage control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements Assists in production planning and scheduling based on releases and sales forecasts Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines Works with Purchasing Clerk to schedule delivery of materials and supplies Monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods Produces reports to reflect current dollar amounts of inventory Performs other related duties as assigned Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Excellent organizational and planning skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work well with all levels of management and staff Proficient with inventory reporting systems Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets or similar software Business Administration background preferred Experience in the materials control field preferred Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift 10 to 15 lbs.
